Slow Punch is the creations and collaborations of Pōneke based artist Frankie Berge. Visually vibrant and potent content that pushes the boundaries of cinematic art and theatre. Through Frankie’s roots in acting and fine art, vast interests and skill grew. Her work now takes form in many shapes; painting, photography, costume set and prop design, art direction, short films, music videos and film installations.
The intention of Slow Punch is to prioritise conversation that challenges the mainstream direction towards imbalance and degradation of our communities land, seas and spirit. Slow Punch places emphasis on alternative and collaborative practices, we believe firmly that a healthy practice does not compromise artistic material but instead, contributes to delivering potent, engaging and innovative work.
Slow Punch acknowledges Te Tiriti o Waitangi as this nation's founding document, and the rightful place of Māori as tangata whenua in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Outside of Slow Punch, Frankie has been working across the Film and TV sector of Pōneke. Contracted within the Art Department - credits include Wellington Paranormal S3, Going Going and On set Art Director for Millie Lies Low.
Training - Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School graduating in 2016 (Acting).
